In 1884, Chapman and Hall publisher released his book Tonkin or France in the Far East<\/a><\/em>. Numerous topics are covered in the book, including the colonial Policy of France, Tonkin’s geography, customs, and history, the relationship between Tonkin and France, the expedition of M. Dupuis, and M. Garnier’s capture of the delta, as well as the treaties between Tonkin and France and the bond relations with China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
